The iPhone Duo Doesn’t Feel Like an iPhone

The iPhone Duo is the most radically different iPhone ever—for good and bad. *Check out the Anker Nano Smart Display charger at Anker* https://shop.anker.com/US_121d_Snazzy_Labs_557504 And at Amazon! https://ankerfast.club/US_121d_Snazzy_Labs_574079 Get your Cloth Pro Max here: https://copland.supply Follow Snazzy Labs on Twitter - https://twitter.com/snazzylabs Follow me on Bluesky - https://snazzy.fm/UW Follow me on Threads - https://snazzy.fm/XV Follow me on Mastodon - https://snazzy.fm/NN Follow me on Instagram - https://instagram.com/snazzyq The iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable iPhone, and the most radical iPhone redesign ever, more so than the iPhone X. After seven days of daily use, the Duo’s weight, one-handed reach, hinge gap, pocket lint and Nano Texture OLED display get measured against the iPhone Air and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The review also covers battery life, the LowPro PopSocket, the speakers and the Sony IMX954 camera sensor next to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro. iOS on the Duo breaks 20 years of muscle memory with an inconsistent back button and swipe-back gesture, a crammed right sidebar, a tiny four-icon dock, a circular Dynamic Island hiding Live Activities in overflow menus, and keyboard-cramped iMessage in landscape. Side-by-side 50/50 split-screen multitasking, book mode, Spark and Finalist show where the foldable shines, Touch ID, Apple Watch unlock and lock screen notifications show where it doesn’t, and the Anker Nano Smart Display Charger brings AVS fast charging, a live wattage and temperature screen, and TÜV-certified Care Mode. 0:00 I don't review phones, really 0:53 Preposterously heavy, awkwardly wide 4:35 Dusty-ass cracks and Nano Texture 7:02 The battery rules 7:34 A charger with a screen?? 8:40 The back button is a lie 12:04 Too much crap in one sidebar 14:42 Multitasking is the killer feature 17:13 Touch ID is MAGICALLY mid 21:10 I love it, but I don't love it iphoneduo apple foldablephone anker ankernano ankersmartdisplaycharger ankernanosmartdisplaycharger
