Description
Jordan Ezenwo Nyesom-Wike, son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, is currently defending a $2.1 million Abuja land case before the FCT High Court in Maitama. The suit, CV/008/2026, was filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited.
The claimants allege that Jordan agreed to help them acquire 30 hectares in Katampe and another 30 hectares in Guzape, and that they later handed him $2.1 million in cash. They also allege that Jordan said $2 million was for his father while $100,000 was his own fee. Jordan denies the transaction completely, says he does not know the claimants, denies receiving the money and says the signature on the acknowledgment being relied upon was forged. TheNewsGuru
The case has also focused on Jordan’s whereabouts on September 26, 2025, the date the claimants say the money was delivered. Jordan told the court he was outside Nigeria, leading the court to order him to produce his American passport. He has now submitted a copy of that passport, while maintaining his denial of the allegations.
In this video, we break down what the claimants are saying, what Jordan is denying, the documents being disputed, the witnesses mentioned, and where the case currently stands.
