Travel expert explains if summer holidays could be cancelled due to jet fuel shortage

Description
Travel expert, Simon Calder, explains how potential jet fuel shortages due to the war in Iran could impact people's plans to travel abroad this summer.
Although flights are being cancelled people should still be able to travel abroad but should be aware that they could face disruption.
Iran effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz to shipping seven weeks ago in response to US and Israeli attacks, and it remains shut despite a flurry of contradictory announcements over the weekend.
Supplies of oil, gas and their derivatives are tightening as a result. A scramble for stocks is underway, and the consequences for airlines and passengers, could escalate.
