King Charles was warned in 2019 that Prince Andrew’s business links were “abusing” the Royal Family’s name, according to emails seen by the Mail on Sunday. A whistleblower claimed Andrew had secret financial ties to millionaire financier David Rowland and treated the relationship as more important than his family. The emails suggest Rowland and his son Jonathan were involved around Andrew’s official work as a taxpayer-funded trade envoy, including joining trips abroad and being tipped off about business opportunities. The whistleblower also alleged Rowland paid Andrew to help secure a Luxembourg banking licence for Banque Havilland. The reports add to the wider crisis around Andrew’s Epstein links and claims he shared sensitive documents while in an official role.
