Govs Track Record Data 'Security' - https://youtu.be/_k_70iqBCDc
Last Monday, the Prime Minister stood at a tech conference and gave Apple and Google three months to build scanning into the operating system of every phone in Britain. Not an app you can delete — the layer underneath everything, the one that sees your camera before the camera does.
The government's own press release says this happens "without collecting any data." The same document then describes the age verification that makes it work. Both sentences can't be true. I read the rest of the paperwork to find out which one was the lie — and found a company you've never heard of that helped write the law that mandates its own product.
Who is SafeToNet. What is OSTIA. And why the evidence the government used to prove this works doesn't run on half the phones in the country.
