Description
During an interview with Channel 4 News, British-Iranian author and peace strategist Sanam Naraghi-Anderlini said that the Strait of Hormuz is “largely closed if you’re supporting the war,” pointing out that Spain, India, Japan, and China have been allowed to let their ships navigate, given their non-involvement in the “illegal” US-Israeli war on Iran.
Naraghi-Anderlini added that, according to contacts she has spoken with in Iran, people are preparing for extreme measures, as children's hospitals face the critical decision of sending some kids home instead of others.
When confronted with the question of the war-supporting Iranian diaspora, she responded by saying “it is really egregious to suggest that people want to be bombed”.
