Reform UK failed to win full control of Norfolk County Council after a rival group backed by former Reform MP Rupert Lowe took key seats and split the Right-wing vote. Great Yarmouth First, supported by Lowe’s new Restore Britain party, won nine seats, leaving Reform three short of a majority. The Conservatives were hammered, losing 52 seats, while Labour was almost wiped out and the Liberal Democrats and Greens both made gains. The Greens also took control of Norwich City Council, adding to a bruising night for the main parties.
