Description
Anambra State Finance Commissioner Izuchukwu Okafor says the Soludo administration is still servicing loans linked to previous governments, including those of Peter Obi and Willie Obiano, with deductions still being made from the state’s FAAC allocation.
Obi’s camp has pushed back, insisting that the disputed ecological money was not a loan but an ecological intervention fund. It says about ₦2.14 billion remained in Anambra’s account when Obi handed over in 2014, and is now asking what happened to the money after he left office.
In this video, I examine both claims, the records being cited, and why the controversy over what Obi actually left behind has returned again.
