Description
This week I'm headed back to Maryland for a wedding. I'll be staying with my parents and visiting with my friends. Since it's my Dad's birthday and I won't see my friends before Christmas, I need to get some gifts. Ride the bus with me to downtown Victoria to see how I do!

As it stands now, the Government of Canada says that our heroes who fought in WWI and WWII were never citizens... that Canadian citizenship only began on January 1, 1947, after they died for our country.
Don Chapman, a champion for the Lost Canadians, including my own grandmother, is now fighting to have Canada's 111,000 war dead from WWI and WWII recognized as Canadian citizens at the time of their deaths. He is about to file a court case on this question. Parliament can settle it with a word.
What we need now are signatures from Canadians who agree that these heroes, who fought and died for our country, deserve to be recognized as Canadians. This is not about erasing British history. It's about honoring Canadian history and those that died for Canada.
If you agree, please take a moment to sign the petition here:

And please share it with other Canadians if you feel moved to do so.
Thank you. Lest we forget. 🇨🇦

Hi! I'm Jen and I do things! My family and I moved from the east coast of the US to Victoria, BC in July 2026. Thanks to parliament passing Bill C-3, my kids (Phoenix and John) and I are dual citizens of Canada and the US. I'm currently sponsoring my husband, John, for permanent residency. On this channel I'm sharing our first year living in Canada. Help us out by leaving comments and follow along by subscribing!
