Middle East war: Iran denies ceasefire deal agreed with US

Massive Israeli airstrikes against the Iranian city of Isfahan, while Iran again uses cluster bombs against Israel. No signs of either Trump or Tehran backing down. Forget lofty goals of regime change or even the need to end Iran's ballistic missile or nuclear programme. They have already been severely depleted. For the US this is now a war to open up the Straits of Hormuz and thus the flow of oil, with Asia, Europe and of course watching nervously from the sidelines. By using low cost mines and drones, Tehran is holding the entire world economy hostage. Will Donald Trump really break another solemn promise and send in US troops to try and finish the job?
