Maybe… but I’d like to think I changed social media too

Maybe… but I’d like to think I changed social media too. I created a space where it’s okay to show yourself as you are unfiltered. So as much as social media has left its mark on me, I hope I am leaving a mark on it. I still roll out of bed looking like a hot mess and push the record button. I still share my daily life. I am still open and honest about my struggles not just my successes. Because that’s real life. Over the last 3.5 years I have certainly changed. I have proved to myself I’m capable of so much more than I ever imagined. I have realized it’s okay to ask for help— and take it when it is offered. I have learned that prioritizing myself doesn’t make me a bad mom or wife. I have SO much left to work on, but change isn’t always a bad thing In order to grow into the person I am today change was necessary. The girl who started all of this in 2023 would be so proud of me.
