In this video, I remove an antique safe from my abandoned general store and uncover buried history that’s been hidden for over 100 years. While working on this historic property, I take on one of the most dangerous tasks yet — moving a massive old safe — and end up discovering antique bottles and forgotten artifacts buried on the premises.

This abandoned general store was once the center of daily life, and as I continue restoring and renovating the building, I’m constantly uncovering pieces of early American history, vintage relics, and forgotten objects left behind for decades. From digging for antique glass bottles to preserving original architectural details, this project is about saving history rather than erasing it.

This is part of my ongoing journey restoring an abandoned early-1900s general store, documenting every step of the renovation, cleanup, and unexpected discoveries along the way. Every artifact tells a story — and some of them have been buried for a century.
