Prime Minister Mark Carney has visited Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as part of continued efforts to diversify Canada's relationships. Mackenzie Gray reports on the deals Carney signed and why he chose to avoid talking about Saudi Arabia's poor human rights record. There have been more wildfires so far in Canada this year compared to 2025, but less area has been burned, according to the federal government.
