Clearer Interface & Smoother Navigation | FM27 Feature Deep Dive

In the first of our FM27 feature deep dives, Associate Game Director Rémy Boicherot and Senior Features Manager Ant Farley detail the improvements and updates that evolve the interface, giving you greater control and smoother discovery as you navigate your game world. From the moment your save begins, you'll discover a more intuitive and familiar experience with primary and secondary navigation changes that empower you to more easily explore the wider game world. For FM27, we’ve reworked the logic of the UI to recognise your preferences and adapt to whatever screen size and resolution settings you have. Whether you’re playing on a laptop or with a 4K monitor, you’ll now get a more optimal experience. This is supported by the addition of a scaling mode controllable in Preferences. That's one of a number of Preferences changes in FM27, supported by Secondary Navigation Landing Spots, Shortcut Remapping, Bookmarks and the introduction of Tile Swapping. These combine to put more control in your hands and make it easier to tailor your game to your managerial style. Our goal with these changes is simple: for them to feel efficient and intuitive, so you can focus on discovery and exploring the wider footballing world.
