TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani report on the Israel-Iran and regional war. IRAN: The United States military is opening the “gates of hell” on Iran. For the eighth consecutive night, American forces are striking Revolutionary Guard targets, coastal surveillance sites, naval capabilities, missile storage sites, air defense systems, and drone facilities around Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Kish Island, Hajjiabad, and the Strait of Hormuz. AMERICAN CASUALTIES: Two American soldiers were killed and another soldier is listed as missing after an Iranian attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Several additional service members were wounded. The attack is raising urgent questions in Washington about whether Iran used advanced ballistic missiles and high-speed maneuvering drones with possible assistance from Russia or China. GATES OF HELL: President Donald Trump ordered U.S. Central Command to escalate the campaign after repeated Iranian attacks, violations of the memorandum of understanding, and the deadly strike on American forces in Jordan. CENTCOM says more than 50,000 American troops remain deployed across the Middle East, on high alert and ready for action. HORMUZ / BANDAR ABBAS: The American strike campaign is focusing on Iran’s southern command structure, including roads, railway tracks, communications infrastructure, bridges, naval facilities, and supply routes around Bandar Abbas. Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani examine whether this is still punishment for Iranian attacks — or preparation to paralyze southern Iran before a larger operation. REGIONAL WAR: Iran is striking across the Middle East, including Kuwait, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, while threatening every energy source in the region. The Revolutionary Guards are also believed to be pushing the Houthis to escalate in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, threatening shipping, ports, and oil facilities. ISRAEL ON ALERT: Iran has still avoided a direct attack on Israel, apparently out of fear that Israel’s entry into the campaign could bring devastating consequences for the regime in Tehran. At the same time, around 100 American aerial refueling aircraft are reportedly on their way to Israel, and Israeli forces are preparing rapid escalation scenarios.
