Breaking: Lil Durk found not guilty in murder-for-hire trial | NBCLA

A federal jury found Grammy-winning rapper Lil Durk not guilty on all charges Friday in a murder-for-hire case tied to a deadly 2022 shooting near the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, was accused of setting in motion a plot to kill rival Atlanta rapper Quando Rondo, whose real name is Tyquian Bowman. Prosecutors alleged Banks paid for a hit team to travel from Chicago to Los Angeles in August 2022 to target Bowman. Gunmen opened fire on Bowman’s vehicle near the Beverly Center, firing at least 18 rounds. Bowman survived, but his 24-year-old cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, was killed.
